Applying for a visa from Pakistan
A green passport makes almost every trip a paperwork exercise before it is a travel one. Each country runs its own system, charges its own fee and applies its own standard of proof, and very little of it is written down in one place in a way that is useful to someone in Lahore planning a two-week trip.
This page is the starting point. Each destination above either has its own guide or a direct line to someone who handles that country's files every week. Below is what is true of nearly all of them.
Which of our services you actually need
Most people arrive asking for "a visa" when what they need is one of three different pieces of work.
How a visa file comes together
The countries differ. The process on our side does not.
-
We work out the trip before anything else
Where, when, how long, who is travelling and who is paying. This decides the visa category, and the wrong category cannot be fixed later in the form. It is usually a ten-minute conversation and it is the most valuable part of the whole thing.
-
The documents are reviewed before a fee is paid
Passport, CNIC, bank statements, income evidence and whatever ties you to Pakistan. If something will cause a problem, you hear it now. We would rather tell you to wait three months than take a fee for a file we expect to be refused.
-
The application is completed and checked against the file
Every answer is matched to a document. Inconsistency between the form and the paperwork is a refusal ground in its own right, and it is the easiest one to avoid.
-
Official fee paid, appointment booked, biometrics given
The government or embassy fee is paid through the official channel. Where biometrics are required, we book the appointment at the right centre and tell you exactly what to carry.
-
Tracked to the decision, then handed back to you
We follow the application until the outcome arrives. If it is an approval, check every detail on the visa against your passport the day you get it. If it is a refusal, keep the letter — it is the most useful document for whatever comes next.
What a visa actually costs
There are two numbers, and they are frequently mixed into one on other websites. Separating them is the single most useful thing we can tell you.
The official fee
- Set by the embassy, government or immigration authority
- Paid to them, not to us — no part of it comes to the agency
- Published and checkable, and we publish it on each destination guide with the date we checked it
- Almost never refundable if the application is refused
- Changes without notice, so the figure on any website can go out of date between your reading it and your paying it
Our service charge
- What it costs us to prepare, check and submit your file
- Different for every case, so we do not publish one number
- Depends on the destination, the visa type, how many people are travelling, how complete your documents already are, and how urgent it is
- Quoted to you separately and in writing, before you commit to anything
- You always see the two figures apart, so you know exactly what goes where
Why we do not publish a price list
Because an honest one is impossible. A Dubai tourist visa for one person with documents already in order and a five-year UK application for a business owner whose accounts need assembling are not the same job, and a single advertised number would have to be wrong for one of them. Most published "visa prices" are a government fee and a service charge added together, which is why they rarely match what you are told on the phone.
Send us the trip and you get both numbers, separately, before you pay anything.
Documents you will generally need
Every destination publishes its own list and each guide above carries the exact one. Across almost all of them, the baseline is the same:
| Document | What it is for | Where people go wrong |
|---|---|---|
| Passport | Identity and travel history | Less than six months validity left, or old passports left at home when they carry the useful travel history |
| CNIC | Identity in Pakistan; some authorities name it specifically for Pakistani applicants | Name spelled differently from the passport. Fix this before applying, not after |
| Photographs | The visa itself | Wrong size, wrong background, or more than six months old |
| Bank statements | That you can pay for the trip, and that the money is yours | A large deposit made shortly before applying. It reads as borrowed and frequently does more harm than a smaller balance |
| Income evidence | That the money has a source | Salary slips that do not match the statements, or a business with no verifiable trace |
| Ties to Pakistan | That you have reasons to return | Left out entirely, because nobody asked for it on a checklist — yet it decides most visit visa cases |
| Travel plan | That the trip is real and thought through | Dates on the ticket, the hotel and the application that do not agree with each other |
Why applications get refused
In the files we see, refusals almost always come down to one of six things, and only one of them is about a missing document.
- The authority is not satisfied you will return. The broadest reason and the most common. It is a judgement about your whole situation, not about one paper.
- Finances that do not add up. An unexplained deposit, a balance that does not match the stated income, or an account with no real activity in it.
- Employment or business that cannot be verified. A letter with no supporting trace behind it.
- The form and the documents disagree. Dates, addresses, salary figures, or a previous refusal that was not declared. Easily avoided and completely fatal.
- A trip that does not fit the person. An itinerary whose cost is out of proportion to the income shown.
- A false document or a false statement. This one is different in kind. It is dealt with under the suitability rules and can bar you from a country for years. We will not prepare a file that relies on one, at any price.
If you have already been refused, the refusal letter names the ground that was actually used, and that is the only thing worth working on. Re-applying immediately with the same documents and a new cover letter is the most common and most expensive mistake people make. Our UK guide covers refusals in detail, and most of it applies elsewhere too.
Choosing a visa agency in Pakistan
You are trusting someone with your passport and a non-refundable fee, so a few checks are worth making — of us as much as anyone else.
- Is there an actual office you can visit? A WhatsApp number and a Facebook page are not an address. Ours is Office 20, Ground Floor, Grand Millennium Hotel, 9-A Davis Road, Garhi Shahu, Lahore.
- Are the credentials verifiable? Ask for the IATA number, the company registration and the NTN, then check them. Ours are printed at the bottom of every page on this site.
- Do they quote the official fee and their own charge separately? If the answer is one blended number, you cannot tell what you are paying for.
- Do they promise approval? If yes, walk away. No agency decides visas, and a guarantee is either a sales line or a sign that someone intends to submit something they should not.
- Will they tell you not to apply? The most useful thing an honest agency does is talk you out of a file that will be refused.
A walk-in office on Davis Road since 2003
Breeze Travels & Tours Pvt Ltd has been working from Garhi Shahu since 2003. We are an IATA accredited agent, licence 27314302, a member of the Travel Agents Association of Pakistan, and a company registered with the SECP under NTN 3626628-7.
Because we are an IATA agency, the flights and hotels on your application are booked by the same team that prepares the file, so the dates agree with each other instead of being assembled from three different places: air tickets and hotel reservations. We also run Umrah packages and tour packages.
Come in and sit down with your documents, or send them on WhatsApp and we will go through them. Either way you will get a straight answer about where your file stands before you spend anything.
